By using StaQd, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using StaQd, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old. Users between 13 and 17 should have parental consent.

Description of Service

StaQd is an AI-powered fitness and nutrition guidance application. It provides personalized workout programming, nutrition tracking, meal suggestions, and coaching through Quinn, an AI coach. StaQd is designed for informational and educational purposes related to fitness and nutrition.

Not Medical Advice

StaQd provides AI-generated fitness and nutrition guidance only. It is NOT medical advice.

Quinn is an AI coach — NOT a licensed medical professional, registered dietitian, or certified personal trainer. Recommendations are generated algorithmically based on exercise science and nutrition research, not by licensed professionals reviewing your individual case.

StaQd does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise program or making significant dietary changes.

User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your health, injuries, and medical conditions
• Consult a physician before starting any exercise or nutrition program
• Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or concerning symptoms
• Seek medical attention for any injuries or health concerns
• You are solely responsible for your physical safety during workouts
• Do not rely on StaQd as a substitute for professional medical advice

AI Limitations

• Quinn may occasionally make mistakes or provide suboptimal recommendations
• Recommendations are not reviewed by licensed professionals
• No guarantees about specific fitness results, weight loss, or muscle gain
• AI may not account for all individual health conditions or contraindications
• Use your own judgment and consult professionals when in doubt

Health Data Integration

StaQd may integrate with Apple Health (HealthKit) and Google Health Connect to read health data such as sleep duration, heart rate, step count, active energy, and body weight.

• Health data access requires your explicit opt-in permission
• This data is used solely to personalize Quinn's coaching recommendations
• Health data is stored securely in your account with encryption at rest and in transit
• You can disconnect health data access at any time in your device Settings
• StaQd may write completed workout data back to Apple Health / Google Health Connect with your permission
• Health data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing
• Deleting your account permanently removes all synced health data within 30 days

Service Tiers

StaQd offers multiple service tiers:

• Free: Basic workout and nutrition tracking with limited AI coaching messages per day
• Pro ($9.99/month): Expanded AI coaching, photo meal scanning, AI grocery lists, unlimited program generation, and trend analytics
• Pro+ ($19.99/month): Everything in Pro plus full coaching history, health data integration, periodized programming, and priority AI response times

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can cancel at any time from your device's subscription settings.

User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, including meal logs, workout logs, and conversation history. You grant StaQd a limited license to store and process your content solely for providing the service. You can delete your content at any time — deleted content is permanently removed within 30 days.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use the app to generate harmful fitness advice for others
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the AI coaching system
• Do not share your account credentials
• Do not use the app in any way that violates applicable laws

Limitation of Liability

StaQd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any injuries, health issues, or damages arising from AI-generated recommendations. You use the app at your own risk. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. You can delete your account from your profile settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Georgia.
